EcoStyler Dry Twistout

 

 

  I haven't used EcoStyler much this time around.  At my attempt to have softer hair and twists, they are not as defined and are not lasting as long. That's all I used the second go round. Since the rain shut down my Miss Jessie's Stretch Silkening Creme Twists. I rubbed plenty of olive oil on my dry hair last night and twisted with the Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel.  It's a lil stiff, but that's what I need in this weather-heat, humidity, and rain.

Hard to part

 

It is so hard to part your own hair...you see ms Kisha here, her parts are all straight. I attempted to have assistance with my parts by sistergirl, my mama, and boo.  I just winged it on my own after the third try.  A shame. the kitchen beautician can't get no assistance. No Assistance!

                       This is an attempt to put away sistergirl's hair for a few days for work. I flat twisted the hair into 6 rows.

For some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to clarify with Pantene Ice shine and Condition with Pantene Ice shine. I used Elasta QP leave in and twisted with Cantu Curling Cream-FAIL. I have not failed this bad in a long time. An undefined style is nothing compared to crunchy hair that I have attempted to correct on two tries. So flabbergasted, I cannot remember what I used the next day, but last night, I prepoo'd with Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner. I definitely needed restoration.

I returned all $16 dollars of the Pantene products that I have purchased over past couple weeks.....WWWWHHYYYYY!!!!!! Anyway, give me money back! On to the next!

I walked up in Target today in search of the SM Yucca&Boabab Thickening Mist, thanks to Ahseik1118...FACE!  OK, so I could not find the mist, and I had the bright idea to order online on my phone while in the store-FAIL. It took almost 30 minutes to do this on my phone. Shame on Target.com and my pitiful Samsung.

I decided to dry twist my hair with Twist 'n Locks Honey Wax.  If its ok, you may see a pic tomorrow.

MY chunky twistout

I twisted of course with Shine n Jam on dry hair on Thursday night.  You talkin about some moisturized hair!!!

I can definitely tell it has some glycerin in it, so I hope it can be used in the colder months...we shall see!  It stayed moisturized until my wash day, today.  I definitely needed more pics.  I took out out my twists and separated once and just let the fro swell throughout the day. 

Today I washed and conditioned with Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo and Conditioner.  Afterwards I used Elasta QP leave in Conditioner, Jojoba Oil, and Roots of Nature Curling Cream.  I then twisted with Ampro Shine n Jam.  I am excited to see the results.

Porsha's Do

Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting my regular kitchen client, coworker, and friend Leosha's sister Porsha. Such a sweetie.  She came all of the way from the big city to Greenville to test out my kitchen skills.  All three of us were on the prowl to get the infamous flat twist updo of Youtuber fusionofcultures.... Updo with BeUNIQUE Hair Care Mango Twist.  Although Miss Laila-Jean has about 3 years of all  natural hair, we felt that we could achieve the look with no added hair.  Porsha has a lot of hair and has been transitioning since Ocober 2011. She has been maintaining her hair well,  I encourage her to transition as long as possible.  She gave me some pro photographer advise on the taking of these pics...So Cute, Check her out!

Porsha came in with freshly washed hair.  I used Elasta QP leave in conditioner and Jamaican Mango&Lime Locking Wax near the root and Motions Define Your Curl Cream for the length and flattwisted and tucked away.
