Carol’s Daughter products and I have had an on-off relationship for years, and I have used & loved Most of the body products, but only a few of the hair products.
Soon after her feature on Oprah, I first visited her Brooklyn Location in 2003. I visited New York again, and loved the Harlem location. This last visit to New York in 2006 sparked my mixologist ways, and I created delaSense-scents and body care to sooth and please the senses. So serious, I was selling Body Jellies and Body Oil Mists like hotcakes, and that urge faded away. I just mix my own batches for personal use now and leave it to the Brands & Natural Food Stores to give me what I need. delaSense may return….Back to CD.
I initially fell in love with the body jellies, especially pineapple and ocean, Ecstasy body oil mist, and the entire Groove scented line- Cream Wash , Body Oil and Shea Souffle, and the leave in conditioner-Tui, then Black Vanilla Coconut. I lucked up while living in Charlotte, and CD was at Sephora-Southpark Mall. I have visited the Alexandria , VA location in the mall. When I moved to Grenville, CD was in Dillard's-Haywood Mall. I even met Lisa Price at a Dillards visit in fall 2009.
My only gripe and sadface is any line I fall in love with; slowly fades away-discontinued.

Ecstasy Body Oil Mist
Bring in the Moisture (I believe has only changed it’s name to Acai Hydrating)
I currently use the Honey Hair Mimosa, as a sealant, for protective styles, two strand twists, and to add sheen…love it. I recently bought the Loc Butter, I loved my twist out result, but I could not do the smell-too medicinal, and I never really need products with hold. So I but exchanged it for Marguerite’s Magic. I will continue to use the Mimosa for dry twists and twist outs. I will have a review on Marguerite’s Magic soon.
