No Cabins-Yay/ I hate I missed Dolly Parton. I saw a classmate post that Dolly was coming out around 11:45. We were just heading to breakfast, Oh well. We ate at Sawyers, I had reservations about the food, but my hubz assured me that we were in good country hands. Breakfast was delicioso. After breakfast, we were deciding our next stop, and went on a Jurassic Boat Ride. After that $50 event, we decided to get more out of our money at Dollywood, Dollywood was perfect CCTwinz, Kinston and Rael rode the exciting rides and rollercoasters. The drive was eventful.

In addition, I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Deep Contour palette as face/cheek contour and a lighter shade-arena for under the brow. I used a deep peachy pink for cheek and the light over dark highlighter duo My eyes are a blend of Blanc Type, Brown Script, and Sketch! I have included a few favorites below.

The Frogs and the Milk!

Hi all, Don’t quote me on this old folktale with a twist, but it really moved me, so I will share the tale with you! I attended our Church’s revival for the week, and a Pastor from North Charleston, SC recited this story during service: There were some frogs who came upon a pail of milk. They all wondered what it was and pondered over whether to jump in or not. While the others pondered, one jumped and another jumped in right behind him. They were having a ball sipping milk and swimming in the milk, they were ready to jump out and quickly found out they could not. The poor froggies started struggling and kicking and trying to get…kicking and paddling with no luck. Their friends on top of the pail said stop give up, stop you can’t do it, you can’t, just give up. The two were still struggling and tiring out, and they kept telling them no just stop, you can’t do it and finally one frog gave up the struggle, and sunk to the bottom and drowned. Oh NAW!!! The other frog said, he kept going, kept fighting, kept paddling, and his friends felt bad for him and told him to give you can’t do it just stop, he kept swimming, paddling kicking, and if you know anything about milk, if you keep churning… (it will start to slowly harden.) The frog felt a little more traction in the pail of milk as it slowly hardened to cream, then butter, and he jumped around in glee and jumped right on out of the pail! His friends were cheering and congratulating him and hugging him. He said if it wasn’t for y’all I would have given up. They were surprised, why would you thank us, we told you to give up a long time ago. Oh I thought y’all were rooting me on. All I could here was Keep Going, you can do it. Don’t stop, don’t give up, and I kept fighting for my life! You can find several forms of this folktale and the original moral was never giving up, but the twist is a tale of PERCEPTION! You hear what you want or need to hear. Someone can say one thing to two different people and depends on how that person processes that information,how they heard it, or their life experiences.

Long Blazers for Work or Play

Shopping didn't end when I was single, and definitely doesn't with the Krew! My family, hubby, son, and CCTwinz-we always need something. I buy for my little ones so often, and had to decrease some purchases for me! But that ended last week; I need to stay on top of the fashions at a great cost too. I splurged and bought two blazers recently from Target, one in light gray and the other in black. I say splurge because I bought them at regular price!!!NOT ON SALE!!! That is uncommon, rare, and a downright shame. I had to though, because they were long and they fit my arms. I could not wait around on a sale or clearance.

I am currently on the lookout for a fitted dress to wear under these blazers... let's see

Getting back to me

So, we've all figured out that I am not tech savvy, I am not a PRO makeup artist. What I do know is I am a makeup technique, application, and brand enthusiast. I have been a makeup artist since Southside High School; when I was sneaking and using my mom's Fashion Fair Chocolate Raspberry lipstick. People, friends, classmates, sorors, coworkers, and acquaintances have let, right, let me arch their brows, apply their makeup for weddings, date nights, interviews, birthdays, proms, and just because. They have trusted me in their hair with box braids, bantu knots, havana twists,Dooby wraps, rodsets, crochet styles, yo, i could keep going, and now faux locs! Will I go to school for cosmetology or for esthetics, I don't know? Run On! My point is I am not a pro, but I love this makeup and hair and I am getting back to me! I am a Sales Professional, Marketing graduate, and an artist and I am sensitive about my shit! (I had to Erykah B.). Once I figure out the technology and logistics, please believe me...it is ON! kinks and blessings
