Sew-In with Invisible What?

This was a sew in with invisible part trial that came out wonderful.  I may not talk it about it much but sew ins are in my style portfolio....I just have not installed them in a while.  KaD'rea has great quality hair.  This sew in was with Brazilian Wavy 16" and 18".  Youtube helped me out with the part and closure situation.  Check out more virgin hair options on www.lovehairenvy.com

I know it may seem like I have went crochet crazy....I kinda have and it is contagious.  This set was with freetress gogo curl in color 4/27

Marley Crochet

This is a refresher style on the marley braid hair I crocheted 2 weeks ago. Today I washed the roots with diluted shampoo and sprayed her hair generously with Sta sof fro moisturizer.  I then set the ends with pipe cleaners and separated. Voila...Another successful protective style! Kinks&style

Pipe Cleaner Curls

I bugged my sister about putting pipe cleaner curls in her hair and then she bugged me to actually do them.  So after about 2 weeks, we finally tried it out this past weekend @ around 11:30 Friday night. I used Organic Root Stimulator Setting Foam on dry locs.  We folded the pipe cleaners in half and left the loop on the end for easy removal.  She let them dry over night into the middday, and removed the pipe cleaner for beautiful ringlet curls!

They lasted over three weeks, and she had them re-piped? this past week. She may be hooked!

Hello

I have been in the kitchen, more than ever. Believe me, I am only cooking up hairstyles, not too many meals. SHAME!  Updos and crochets, people please do not sleep on the crochet. It can be a great alternative to sew in and braids in less time.

I have installed a few sets, from curly, marley, to afro kinky hair.

I have never been into braids and weaves, but crochet has opened my eyes.  I will keep them in at least once every 2 months to continue my Protective Style Challenge.
