I have been in the kitchen, more than ever. Believe me, I am only cooking up hairstyles, not too many meals. SHAME! Updos and crochets, people please do not sleep on the crochet. It can be a great alternative to sew in and braids in less time.
I have installed a few sets, from curly, marley, to afro kinky hair.
I have never been into braids and weaves, but crochet has opened my eyes. I will keep them in at least once every 2 months to continue my Protective Style Challenge.

Delana,
ReplyDeleteI love this style on you. Can you share what you did to achieve it. I am so into crochet braids and I'm looking for that more natural kinky twist out look. Would love it if you would share~
Thanks.
Deneen
Hi Deneen,
DeleteI flattwisted my hair in about 10 rows and crocheted the afro kinky bulk hair by Living Color.
Then I twisted right over left-that is the key for some reason! I wore the hair in twists for about a week and I have worn a twistout for over 2 weeks since then. I hope that helps!
