WaterBabies

So we went to the waterpark again this week. This was definitely not in the plans.  My cousin called me around 11:30 am, and asked if Kinston and i wanted to go to the Waterpark with her and her daughter.
Instead of being in Sunday Service, I was running around exchanging sizes for clothes and shoes that I shopped around for on Saturday for K's First School Year-4K, too much to discuss now:( My BABY!  I have thought too much about my baby's attire. Pause.
I said well we went last week, but errah why not?  I still felt guilty from not taking K his swim trunks and Water Day items for daycare last week, so...I told her I'd see her by 1pm, and off we went to the waterpark for the second week in a row. {I can't swim!!!}  My sister joined us too, so all 5 of us non swimming folk had a ball.  The only problem is K thinks he can swim. So he is trying to float with his life vest on struggling and getting water all in his nose and rolling all around in the water. Stop it! We need swimming lessons ASAP!  My crazy sister even went down the slide getting her locs wet. After the first run she loved it and did it again and was a whistle short of a young teen lifeguard scolding her that the slide was for kids only! hehe-it was worth it!  Although we are natural, its a trip how we are not too excited about our hair getting wet!?!

I went in the Park with a big stretched puff and it shrunk to about 2/3rds of its size.  Not so bad! This means another week of getting the chlorine out of my hair. I decided to...
prepoo- Olive Oil
shampoo- Beautiful Textures Tangle Taming Shampoo
conditioner- Pantene Curly Series Dry to Moisturized
Jane Carter Leave in
Grapeseed Oil-lots
Twisted hair with Carols Daughter Marguerite's Magic & Honey Hair Mimosa

We'll see the results.  I washed K and his hair in Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Magic Soap, and cowashed his hair with Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner. He will get a spritz of Elasta QP leave in & Coconut Oil in the am:)
