I took down my protective Style #1, I loved this style although it was super heavy on my head. It lasted close to three weeks. I took out the crocheted Marley Braid hair and wore my hair loose in the top and pintucked it. After that i washed and conditioned my hair well and I wore my Hair out in a regular fro for 4 days. I say regular fro, because everyone is so used to my styles that a FRO? ain't good enough. Don't get it twisted I love my styles, but I am in love with my FRO! I am using these protective styles to grow my FRO. I cannot wait for that ridiculous FRO.
On to my Protective Style #2 for the next two weeks. I have been on YouTube too much during my protective style challenge. I am living through the videos, I guess? So I have been wondering how hard it would be to attempt the fluffy/puffy twists. It wasn't so hard, but I definitely need to work on it. I installed them on Monday between 730p and 1230a. I had many breaks and K had to take a bath and go to bed, and other things! I would say it took three hours. I used one bag of Living Color Afro Bulk 24". It is a mix of Kanekelon and Toyokalon Fiber. I went out and bought another bag for the next install. The shape was not hot, so I was struggling on a way to style it.
On this past Friday, while perusing MAC, I saw a cute lil brunette lady with an even cuter hairstyle. She had on a sequined headband and tucked the hair in the back. So after strugglin for about 20 minutes, I thought back to the headband tuck...
